Quality - Made in Britain

DCS has been awarded BRC accreditation.

BRC  (British Retail Consortium) is a trade organisation which represents the interests of its members, a large proportion of whom are UK retailers.

The BRC standard for Consumer Products was set up to ensure the supply of safe and legal consumer products of a consistent quality.

To achieve BRC accreditation a company must satisfy a number of requirements (which are independently audited on a annual basis) including:

A hazard and risk management system and subsequent controls; A Quality Management system: Effective control of the site environment, product, process and personnel.

DCS Manufacturing have attained certification from BRC applicable to the Development, Manufacture, Packaging and Supply of Health and Beauty products to retail and wholesale outlets.

At DCS Manufacturing we focus on providing quality that you can rely on.

We take great pride in our quality focus and we aim to provide you with the excellence at every level of our business. As an example we recently passed a P&G quality audit with a 98.5% pass mark which was one of the highest scores ever achieved for this audit.

DCS has a £100m annual sales and employs 200 people. We have over £1m Dun & Bradstreet Credit Rating which we are very proud of. Not many manufacturers have this !

Our focus is to help our customers grow their sales and profits by delivering quality products that sell well whilst at the same time providing excellent service and support through a range of added value services. We are committed to running a commercially successful sustainable business and using resources responsibly with due regard for the future generations. We do no believe there is any conflict between commercial success and social or environmental responsibility. The greater our economic performance the more credible example we can set for other businesses.

Quality Products - MADE IN ENGLAND - Our total focus is manufacturing quality products that perform so well that consumers keep coming back for more. By making products in England, and in our own factory, we can have total control of the whole process and guarantee quality.

Quality Systems - We run state-of-the-art technology with web-based software and digital paperless picking systems in our warehouse. Our Synergy warehouse management system runs full batch tracking and traceability and is used by many UK leading companies.

Support the Community - At DCS we provide jobs for local people rather than manufacturing products abroad. With over 200 employees supported by DCS we are not only improving their lives but also the local economy. We support the Stratford Hospice, Stratford Town Football Club and the Stratford Music Festival amongst others.

Health & Safety - DCS prides itself on its high quality H&S systems and is an example case study for the HSE (Health & Safety Executive). DCS has developed through its software company Enable Infomatrix some of the UK's leading Health & Safety Software.

Against Animal Testing - DCS is opposed to the use of new animal testing at any stage of the development process, or by any of its ingredients suppliers. We operate a strict regulatory policy that ensures we do not use any ingredients that have been newly tested on animals for the purposes of use in cosmetic products

Protect our Planet - At DCS we aim to reduce our carbon footprint with our "manufacture locally and sell locally" focus.  The majority of the products that we produce are sold in the UK and it makes complete sense to manufacture these products in the UK thus reducing transport emissions. Our company also recycles all waste under the EU Waste Packaging Regulations. DCS is also engaged in a wide array of ways to reduce energy used at its Stratford-upon-Avon headqaurters. All our lights are now converted to switch off automatically when not in use and we have installed a large number of extra skylights in our warehouse to make use of daylight.
